Alter Aeon November 2025 Update

Happy Veterans’ Day from the staff of Alter Aeon! Now that the Halloween event is over, we have released the Atmir Bight, a level 34 area and the House of Durthang, a level 27 area on Archais. Shorelines of Atmir and Suboria have been fixed up to be more cohesive and navigable by ship. This has included adding sections of coast to close gaps. In addition to the Atmir Bight in the southwest, look for minor expansions to areas along the northern coast of the mainland. New ports have also been added, including Orton, Siviri, Skerrit's Haven, Khal-Rhin and Cape Sovestia. You now have a chance to harvest skulls when using the necromancer 'harvest bone' skill. Skulls are highly customizable focuses, with the ability to be upgraded and utilized in other crafting skills. Object quality throughout the world has been tweaked. The WELL_MADE threshold has been lowered, and loading objects will now have an assigned quality. There is a low chance that any given object in the game will be MASTERCRAFT quality. Equipment in some of Alter Aeon's oldest areas has been updated to make it compatible with crafting upgrades. New crafting options and heraldry choices have been added, from buckets to flag and banner types for decorating ships in a near future update. Speaking of which, the first phase of the ship expansion project is well on schedule for a Thanksgiving release. We usually do a small game-wide event around this time, as well. The Dark Web, a level 43 group 10 area on the shadow plane, is scheduled to be released later this month. Additional fighter skills, including ‘flick’, ‘spinkick’, ‘clobber’ and ‘rally’, will be added for use in warrior tactic combinations before the end of the month. Groundwork has already been laid for this year’s Winter Solstice event, details of which will be presented in next month’s update. Work continues on Ruthien, which is a building project involving three level 34 areas in southwest Atmir. It is currently scheduled to be released at the end of the year. Some Nightmare Plane solo areas are scheduled to be released alongside the anniversary event next January. For more information, please refer to this month’s Youtube update here:
